Lee is here and he and Evey seem to be enjoying the show. They're playing with Lydia and Anna and my puppies. Kait is by my side smiling at me. I have the best friends in the world. Yes, even the ones that are riding across the country side to go have fun.
OH GOD! Caitlin dropped a biscuit in Peter's LAP! And then reached to grab it and he jumped up like someone had jabbed him with a hot poker. I'll bet you 50 pounds she did it on purpose. Poor guy. He is giving me a 'save me' face but I can't help myself.
Anyway, we have some stuff to do and stuff to work out and stuff to see and blah. I've disconnected the phone. If you want to reach me, you'll have to call my lovely new purple mobile that plays "Everybody Dance Now".
I don't think Peter wants to be here at all. So I am going to try to take up very little of his time so he can go be happy. Because he deserves it. I'm 17. I should be able to handle this on my own, I just...I wasn't sure if I was strong enough yet. But we talked about it. He's so reassuring. And I think I'll be able to handle...things. When they come. But it wouldn't have worked over the phone. He's going to see what he can do about certain things, but lots of stuff will be up to me. And I'm scared because I won't have a safety net. Peter is my safety net.
I think I'll be okay. I hope I will.
Ack, I have to go. My mam spilled tea on my Safety Net and she's currently trying to take his shirt off so she can 'wash it', and he is Most Displeased.
EDIT: Ooookay. So I banished my mam to her room and now Peter is in here with me, moping. He said, 'I TOLD her I was seeing someone but that just made her more interested!' Which is true. Such is Caitlin. He is now wearing a shirt my dad left behind and it's totally freaking me out. Peter. Wearing my father's shirt.
Brain so broken.
